Elderberry Syrup
A blend of Water, Elderberry, Rosehips, (Evaporated Cane Sugar, Raw Local Honey, or Monk Fruit), Ginger, Lemon, Cinnamon.
This is great immune support, take at the first sign of illness, or tonically when prolonged activity and stress are prevalent. With the added Rosehips, this offers a good amount of Vitamin C.
This is great for infants(None Honey) all the way to adults, just adjust the dosage and whether you are using the honey-sweetened or not.
***We use it as a preventative remedy during peak cold and flu season. If we get hit with a minor illness, we double or triple the dose until we feel better.
Up to 4 times daily
1/2 - 1 tsp; children under 30lbs
1 tbsp: children 30 to 100 lbs
2 - 4 tbsp: for individuals 100lb and over.
HONEY SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 12 MONTHS.
